The Future of Swimming

To Start off let me say that I love to swim and I used to swim with my school back home. When I thought of topics to write on the subject of the future of swimming I thought about inventions that would benefit the future of competitive swimming. At first, I thought I would talk about the development of the full body suit that was a big controversial subject a couple years ago, but I did not like that topic, I believed it to be cheating in so many ways. Then I thought I would possibly do the fact of the new solar powered heating pools that they are coming out with but that is kind of now not the future. Then I ran across an article about an invention for blind people to be able to stay in their own lanes and depend only on themselves, not someone else telling them when to. Staying in their own lanes, and timing a turn, has always been a huge problem for the blind. One wrong move for them and it could cause them to completely get thrown off course and cause them to lose focus of the finish line. The way of this old and problematic solution of notifying the swimmer was a person at the end of the lane would have a pole with a tennis ball attached to a string. This “guider” would tap the swimmer on the head or the body when they reached the end of the lane. This worked fine but there are many problems to this event. First of all there was always a shortage of the people that were willing to do this tedious job. Second of all there was never enough funding to pay these people to do this as a full time job. So when Annie Swacki discovered a new invention and solved this problematic situation, many people were excited about it. After many failed attempts on creating an electronic prototype, Annie finally came up with a working product. This product consisted of a series of flexible plastic rods with balls on one end and brackets on the other that attach to a standard lane line. The lines that attach to the body of the swimmer can be placed were ever fits best and is out of the way of the techniques of swimming. This invention keeps the swimmer in their own lane and keeps them from veering off into the competitor’s lane, solving several problems alone. This invention also helps to notify the swimmer where the end of the wall is, and allows them to do a proper turn. For the blind this invention is like having eyes and a teacher guiding them along the race and gives them the confidence they need to win their match. All in all, I see this product being the future of swimming for blind swimmers in the near future. This product has already been accepted by the Kiefer Company and promised to be mass produced so any blind swimmer may purchase one. This will definitely be a new revolution for all blind swimmers and will allow more blind people to enjoy the hobby or profession they seek the most.

Summer Job

This last summer I had to get a job to pay for my gas and just every day living so I decided to get a job with my uncle. He builds houses for a living. The first day I started it was so darn hot. And every single day after that it just seemed to get hotter. The first day I came on the job they were finishing up the bottom part of the house and getting ready to start on the up stairs. When we finished at the end of the summer we were done blacking in the house. That means putting up the walls. First day we started building the rooms for upstairs. Once we got the rooms square we started working on the rafters that went across the top of the house. This was an incredibly hard task to complete. This took every ounce of strength plus determination with patients and skill. We had to carry them by hand up the side then hoist them up and hold them while the person up top nailed them. Not to mention they had to be squared and in the right place. But over all I felt really good when I finished with this job. I had accomplished many great things such as pretty much building a house ha. And it taught me many things about life and my uncle was just plain fun to work with anyways. If I could do it all over again next summer I definitely would. Maybe I will. Maybe I will…

christmas break

These past couple of weeks all I have been thinking about was getting out for college break I can’t wait! All I want to do is go home and just sit there and drink egg nog ha I wish. But yeah I think I have to get a job over Christmas break. I don’t have any money so I might need to start thinking about that. Ha I have to pay fraternity dues and have money just to live on so this whole job thing is sounding more real every second I think about it. But oh well I have to pay the bills and that’s the only way to do it so I guess I’ll just have to look forward to it. Well Christmas break I plan on hunting a lot and hopefully getting a deer or a turkey to bring home. Yeah speaking of turkey I’m going to eat so much food Christmas eve. We have the whole family over to my grandma’s house and she cooks and we open presents and what not its just the greatest thing ever. And now that my brother is of age we now have a lil extra happy drink on that special night if you know what I mean. Ha nothing to bad though, its all fun and games. So yeah my parents made me get my own Christmas present this year ha so much for the element of surprise but oh well I’m sure it will still be just as a holly time as ever.

Molly my best friend

Molly was my golden retriever dog. She was my best friend in the whole wide world. She was always such a very happy dog, even after the time I ran her over accidentally. Molly was a very sweet dog, and never would do any harm to any living thing besides grasshoppers and squirrels. She loved to chase both. And she always was begging me to take her out in the boat. So I did pretty much every day after school I would hop in the boat and take her for a joy ride and play fetch with her on the island behind my house. This dog was pretty large also. She was extremely overweight but I loved her and she loved me ha. One day I noticed her not being herself; she acted like she was sick. And the next day she didn’t get better. The third day I took her to the vet and the doc said that she had been poisoned. He said she ate something like a dead squirrel but I knew that wasn’t it. The fourth day my best friend passed away. Her kidneys shut down and she couldn’t eat anything so her body just shut down. If I knew who ever poisoned my dog I probably would do very means things to them. The only thing that killed me was that she was only 5 when she died. So that made her 35 in dog years. That was way to young for a golden retriever to die. oh well I’m in college now and I cant get a new dog but when I get my own house I will. And I’ll probably name her molly jr. and just call it, jr.

Formal

Formal every year is a reception that my fraternity has in New Orleans. We rent out a bar on Burbon Street and eat dinner first. The dinner is steak and steamed veggies. It is quite delectable from what I hear. But and ways we all dress up and it is a really fun time for everyone. We pay for the meal plus an open bar. For those who are of age they party it down and just have a good old fashion time. We pretty much are free to do whatever we want with the time that we are there but most people stay at the bar and dance and have a good time with their brothers. But some have different plans for the night. For those who are of age go to the casino and have fun there. I wish I could go to the casino sometimes it just seems like so much fun and what not. But oh well I’m only 18 so I can’t do anything of that sort yet. But I’m not pouting because I can have fun with out drinking or gambling ha that sounds really bad, maybe because they are bad in a way. But any ways we go down for Saturday night and Sunday and roam Bourbon Street for a night. It ought to be a blast so I hope so dearly. Ha and that is my plans for this weekend kind of a get away after all the exams ha. A gift for myself

kindergarden

Kindergarten was hands down my favorite year of school. First of all your still young and dumb and don’t really know what’s going on you just know that your there and that you are with all these other kids. Kindergarten was great simply because of nap time… yes I said it, nap time. Every day after lunch Mrs. Jackie would take us into the room tell us to get out our mats and lie down to nap. They would turn out the lights and I would just pass out. I never had the teacher tell my mom once that I was hard to put to sleep. I passed that subject faster than dale Earnhardt in the Daytona raceway. I know that every day I would anticipate on snack time being there at the same time every day, and it was! Just like I thought ha I loved kindergarten, really it didn’t get much better than that. In the morning we would get to cut out numbers and color them and glue them on paper I mean I don’t know how I did but I heard I was a natural superstar at that too. Then after nap time we would get story time. Now my teacher was the absolute greatest she would act out everything. I think that’s why I liked kindergarten so much was because well one I was great at it and two my teacher was awesome. Then after story time we would get recess. Now I dunno how I was at that but I think I just ran around in circles a lot and jumped off things. I mean I don’t know that for sure but if I had to guess, that’s exactly what I did when I was that age.

The Dirty Dodge, (Kirt) My Truck

My truck is a Dodge Dakota, 4x4, 4 door, V8, with 32 BF Goodrich mud terrains. Its color is very special to me for many reasons but it is boosie bad blue. My truck has been true to me and has taught me many aspects of life. It has taught me responsibility by making me work on when needed and keeping up maintenance. It has taught me how to work hard so I could pay for gas since it does get 15 miles to the gallon. It has also taught me how much easier it is to pick up girls in a truck than a car. My truck has been a bed for the late nighters and has been a bed to haul around everything from a four wheeler to a personalized swimming pool with people in it. My truck has definitely shown me a great time over the past 4 years I’ve had it. I can’t tell you how many times I have been mud riding late at night in it, and the late nights of sitting on the tail gate at the point with friends just sipping a cold one by a fire. My truck has also seen its fair share of girls. Every girl I’ve ever dated has been in that truck. Ha its even seen its share of make out sessions in the back seat. I love my truck and my truck loves me, and I always have wanted something that was newer but you know every time I go to put that for sale sign on it just breaks my heart and just take it right back off.

The Worst Camping Trip Ever

This is the story of a great plan gone horribly wrong. Ok let me start off by saying that I am a very intelligent man and but I guess I just don't have the best luck sometimes. One day my best friend from high school came up to me and was like Patrick when are we going to make a camping trip to your camp? We’ll take your truck go mud riding, shoot some guns, go swimming it’ll be a blast man. So I was like yeah that does sound like a good time let’s do it. So that day after school I go home and ask the parents if it’s straight that we do this. They agreed and said it would be a fun time and granted me permission. So the next day I went back to school and told Lin that it was on for the weekend we need to get the guys and the ladies lined up to come. Well it turns out that were losers and no girls wanted to come but we did get 8 guys to come. So the day came and we gathered the bunch, we loaded up with the food, beer that we weren’t supposed to have and other essentials. Now the whole story kicks off when we had to make a stop at Clint’s house. There his sister found his Jack Daniels in his sleeping bag. She was like its cool I won’t tell mom. 20 minutes down the road we get a call from the mom bitching us out… yeah oh well once we get there somehow while driving down a dirt road a stick punctures my tire causing a huge gash in the side. So we go to change it but no jack. So we call another friend who brings us one well he gets there at 3 in the morning by that time everyone is drunk listening to the radio in my truck but somehow we get this thing changed. So we go to get in the truck and the truck won’t crank, because we listened to my radio for 3 hours. So no jumper cables either so later the next day I fix this. So we finally get there and my friend decides well he doesn’t know how to drive a four-wheeler so he ramps it into the pond. We finally get it out and of course it won’t crank. Oh well it was the sisters that ratted on us any who… so when we get back from pulling the four-wheeler out we go to play the x-box and come to find that the cable in the back has been chewed through by a rat. Wouldn’t that be our luck? One good outcome of this was I caught a really big fish and ate it and now we have a great story for our kids…

The One That Got Away

When I was little well I say little but I was in middle school, let’s just say about the age of 13 I knew who the girl of my dreams was. She was everything I ever wanted in a girl, extremely funny, gorgeous, blonde hair blue eyes, southern belle, and loved to drink wine, and go out in the boat to the islands and has a personality out of this world. She had an awesome family, one that was very dear to me while growing up also. We’re not going to name this girl so we’ll just call her Victoria because I like that name too. Victoria and I had lots of fun when we were in high school; she was a year older than me but not really, just a couple of months. We would skip school and ride around in her vehicle sipping on crown and a sonic coke and just turn the music up sit back and chill with the windows down just be young and dumb and just live in the moment. She was always just so perfect when she put the ray bans on and her long blond hair just waved in the wind. We would always just do the stupidest and say the dumbest things but we always had the greatest times and never stopped laughing. Now Victoria always liked older guys, which broke my heart. She would always fall for the wrong ones too. I would tell her I would say Victoria he’s not a good person I know him a lot better than you think and it’s just not going to turn out the way you want it too but she never listened. I was always in the damn friend zone which killed me even more. Still today we hand out very often and still have great times, even though her 2 almost 3 years older boyfriend is around. But he’s a really cool guy so I’m happy for em’. I think that we missed out on a lot but you can’t turn back the pages of time so I never look at it that way. Hopefully we can always be friends and ride around when we’re 70 and do the same like we were 17 again. I Just wish things would have had a different outcome sometimes.

My Camp

My Camp is located in Green County, Leakesville Ms to be more exact. My family owns 250 acres of land which consists of a 27 acre pond and a 30 acre big field. I know compared to most other people who hunt and own land, it doesn’t seem like much, but I think it is a fair size piece of property. This land is one of my favorite places in the world to be at any given time. I was raised shooting guns and riding four-wheelers on this land from age one, and have numerous memories that I would give for the world. The pond is one of the best features of the land. You can catch any kind of fish ranging from Large Mouth Bass to Brim to Cat Fish. The pond is also a life saver in the summer time when it’s a scorching 105 degrees outside. In my life I have killed 3 deer; all coming from our land. I have seen everything from turkey, deer, squirrels, to armadillos, on this land. Hunting is one of my favorite hobbies of my life time and I do a lot of it during deer season. We love to get family and friends to the camp and cook just the best food you’ve ever eaten and sit around the fire and just tell stories of “remember when’s”. Another hobby of mine is four wheeling. This takes place a lot during the summer always has and always will. Hopefully we will have this land until my kids kids are old enough to sit around the fire and tell stories of remember when’s.

Taylor Swift, What else is there to say...

Yeah so what… I’m her biggest fan; I don’t care what you say about me. She’s 18, she writes music, plays a guitar, sings, has blonde hair, blue eyes, and is gorgeous, what else can you ask of a girl. Not only do I think that she is a gorgeous young lady I think she is a very talented musician. She has her debue album about to come out and people are expecting millions to be sold. I love every single one of her songs. They are clever, witty, and they show the true passion that comes from the heart of Taylor Swift. One of my friends from back home got me hooked on her music. We would always skip school ride around in her Mercedes and well, let just say have a couple sonic drinks while blasting Taylor Swift with the windows down. Those were the greatest times of my life so far. We didn’t have a worry in the world and we didn’t care what anyone thought about us. She always loved the song, picture to burn so that’s the one we would play most of the time. She loved it because it kinda played out to her life and went along with previous experiences that occurred with a certain boy that cheated on her, but we won’t name any names because he is still a friend. Not like any of you know him anyways, but whatever back to Taylor. Yeah one of these days we will get married and live a fabulous life in a 4 story mansion on the beach in well wherever she wants I’ll let her pick, and all this is going to be with my money because I’m not in it for her money. I’ll let her buy shoes with her money. I’m not a stalker, I promise but every December 11th we will celebrate her birthday however she wants to… hopefully by going mud riding on 4 wheelers and then end the night up singing by a fire and then cuddling in the same sleeping bag while looking at the stars drinking wine straight from the bottle. Yeah that’s going to be her next big hit, you just wait she’s going to be singing about me. Heck she already does. You know that character talking about Romeo, Drew, and Corey; yeah she’s really talking about me. Yeah well like I said I don’t care if you believe me or not just don’t hate the playa hate the game! booya

Obama or McCain ?

Obama or McCain? This is the question millions of Americans have been asking themselves for months. Well November the 4th finally decided this question for good. As millions of Americans casted their votes on the 4th and America as a whole came to the conclusion that they wanted Obama in office as our commander in chief for the next four years. I voted for the person that I felt that could handle the world’s leading power country. And its not saying that I was wrong in my decision its just that other people felt that Obama could balance the economy once again, get our country out of debt, keep America from sliding into our 2nd depression, and run the war in Iraq better than McCain could. Let me state that I am very patriotic and I will always support our president no matter who that might be but I kind of doubt this conclusion just a little. I think that Obama got elected simply because of his young age, his extremely talented way of persuading even a dog not to lick himself, or maybe it was his race and people were just ready for a change. For whatever reason it might have been that Obama got elected into office may be I hope that he is one of our best presidents ever to be in office. I hope that he can run this shaky economy better than anyone has in generations. I just hope that he isn’t another Kennedy that charms the people over with his smile and not his leadership skills…

Why Am I Still Skinny!

Weight, now days everyone talks about watching it. Well apparently I don’t have anything at all to worry about. When I graduated high school I weighed 135 pounds. Correction when I was in the 11th grade I weighed that much. So apparently I’m not good at the whole gaining weight thing. Well back in May everyone was telling me that I would have to watch my weight because everyone gains weight their first year at college. They called it the freshmen 15. Oh but no that doesn’t apply to me. Ha I weighed myself yesterday and I weighed 133. Yes I lost 2 pounds, not anything close to gaining 15. This is not fair at all, how come I get excluded from everything even gaining weight. I like to eat so I never really skip a meal unless I don’t have time. Maybe it’s because I still exercise pretty regularly that has to be it. I still don’t exercise as much as I did. I mean I was running like 3 miles every day and working out for soccer. Maybe the stresses of college keep the pounds off. All of this studying and cramming for major test and exams and just deadlines are pretty stressful. Maybe I still have a fast metabolism and that’s keeping me from gaining weight. Well now that I just thought about it, why am I complaining in the first place! This is a good thing and I’m glad I haven’t gained any weight.

House Party

The year is 1999 and a kid from my school is having a couple friends over to keep him company while his parents are gone on a business trip. Little did he know that this was going to be one of the wildest nights of his life? Josh’s parents pack the car and hug him while running out of the door screaming “we left you money on the table, we’ll be back on Tuesday, and don’t forget to feed the dog”! Josh, knowing as always that his parents were late for their flight, didn’t slow them down as they ran out the door. As the door slammed and the parents rushed out of the drive way and out of sight, Josh picked up the phone and called Brandon. Now Brandon and Josh did everything together, they we inseparable. They were like mixing gas and matches and they never stayed out of trouble. When Brandon got to Josh’s house they were immediately dumbfounded with what they were going to do with a house to themselves for a whole weekend. It didn’t take them long to realize what had to be done. So each got on the phone and called up all of their buddies and all the local girls from school. Each call consisted of these words, “party at Josh’s house tonight at 6:30, tell everyone”! Before they knew it they had hundreds of kids coming to their party. Well the main key to this whole story is Brandon was good friends with the lead singer of a new local band called 3 Doors Down. When brad picked up the phone and heard the news, it immediately struck him that they had to play at this party. Brad called up Brandon and told him the news, Brandon and Josh became ecstatic! They knew their party would be the best of the century. Well, the band came first that afternoon and started setting up the set. Then, one by one the crowd started flowing in. Before Josh knew it he had over two hundred teenagers in his house screaming and having the time of their life. Finally the band kicked off and the people flowed outside onto the back porch. By the end of the show 3 Doors Down had everyone jumping up and down screaming with excitement. Josh knew this was the best night of his life, until disaster finally struck. 3 Doors Down was actually too pumped they had the crowd jumping so hard that the beams that support the main section of the deck shattered, and all came crashing down. Thankfully no one was hurt and the band was set up on the cement part, not the deck. All in all, after the night whisked away and the last stragglers stumbled off into the night, Josh and Brandon had one of the greatest nights of their life. After that night, everyone was talking about the new local group 3 Doors Down. They were extremely known throughout the community as the new sensational rocking group. Nights like these create memories and even change people’s life. I mean hey, it certainly changed the bands life forever. And that’s the story on how my cousin actually had 3 Doors Down play at his party before they were nationally a huge rock band.

Sigma Chi

Hey there, this week I’m going to be talking about my fraternity. To start off let me say that I am a Sigma Chi. I am much honored to be part of the Sigma Chi tradition. I’m not officially part of the fraternity yet but I am a rushing with the pledge class of 08. I’m very excited about the people I am meeting and the bonds that I am going to be making for the rest of my life with my brothers. They say that we will “marry and bury” our brothers, meaning we will be there for them when they get married, and we will be there for them when they get buried. I am meeting all new kinds of older guys that are taking me under their wing and just showing me the ropes of the real life of a Sigma Chi. Then there’s my pledge brothers. So far I love every single one of them. They are all a trip. Every single one of them has a different personality and is great in their own way. We all have at least one thing in common with each other. This next week is going to be some of the greatest memories of my life. Oct, 3 is formal rush and I can’t wait. I know it’s going to be hell but it’s going to be great memories and a heck of a time. We get to do the traditional run down the row and then on Saturday we a throwing a massive band party. Then on Tuesday we are having a toga party that is just going to be a fulfillment of one of my dreams ha. There will be girls and men in togas getting down with the get down… it doesn’t get much better than that. But yeah I’m super excited about my fraternity so yeah peace.

Salt Water Fish

Ok for you that doesn’t know or remember I’m from the coast. I live in Pascagoula Ms. I go out in the boat just about every day of my life. I don’t always fish when I go out in the boat. I sometimes go swimming at the sand bar. We go dove hunting also on some of the local islands. Some other things that we do when we go out include tubing, wake boarding, and skiing. We also just go out in the boat sometimes just to ride around. But we sometimes go out just too simply fish. You can go fishing in the fresh water river and catch anything from Large Mouth Bass to Brim. But that’s another story for another time. Today I will be talking about the salt water fish that live on the coast. First and foremost we have the shark family. We have the Bonnet head Shark, whose peak is in the summer, its head is spade shaped, and usually weighs about 10 pounds. We also have a more common bull shark. Next is the Black Tip shark who usually gets about 20 pounds. Next is the Atlantic sharp nose shark. Is usually only gets about 8 pounds. The next species is the sheeps head. It is black and gold and only about 2 pounds. We have a fish called a Wahoo. It gets about 30 pounds and looks like a dinosaur. We have more common fish like the black drum who is about 5 pounds and really dark. We have beautiful fish called red snapper; it’s my favorite to catch. It can get about 25 pounds. We have Spanish mackerel and King Mackerel. We have white trout and speckled trout. The trout are very common but they only get about 2-3 pounds. Now in my opinion the Cobia or the “ling” is definitely the most fun to catch. These beasts can get up to 80 pounds! They are the hardest to catch though. But if you know where the hot spots for ling are then it’s easy. Well there are 100’s more saltwater fish but these are just the basics. Peace.

I like to eat...

Ha OK most of you probably cant tell by my weight but I love to eat. So in today's blog I'm going to tell you how to cook the perfect steak dinner. First and foremost, in order to make the perfect steak dinner, you must have all the ingredients. You’ll always need the right spices for the meal. Dale’s, Tony’s, salt, pepper, and lemon pepper are all necessities for this meal. Next you must have the correct food. To start off, the fillet minion is my favorite and the most exquisite, but a sirloin will do just fine. For the sides I like to have macaroni and cheese with steamed broccoli and corn with a big piece of Texas toast. I also like a baked potato or salad with it. Now that you have all of your ingredients, it’s time to start cooking. First, you must light up the grill and get it nice and hot for your juicy stake. You need to tenderize your stake first, after that you can spice it up any way you like but I like to soak it in Dale’s first and then put lemon pepper, and tony’s on it. After I put all my spices on it I throw it on the grill. While the stake is cooking I start preparing all the other sides. Mac and cheese is quick and easy so I make it last but the broccoli and the baked potato takes the longest. I wrap my baked potato in tin foil and put it in the over to bake at about 350 degrees. Then I boil water in a pot with a steamer on top with my broccoli on top. This steams my broccoli. Then I melt velvita cheese and cover my broccoli when it is finished steaming. During this I am constantly checking on my steak. I like my steak medium rare that way it’s not tough and it melts in your mouth. Then I prepare my toast. Its easy, just put it in the conventional oven for about five minutes. Then I dress my potato with cheese, bacon bits, butter and sour cream. Then you place them all on the plate with a nice cold sweet ice tea and you have yourself the perfect steak dinner.

Oh the Things that go through my head...

Oh some of the things that go through my head sometimes... I often wonder what the score was in the 3rd quarter of the colts and bears super bowl game.I sometimes wonder how a guy like me isn't dead. What if Dane Cook really wasnt that funny at all, insted he was a very dull person that worked at Dairy Queen. And what would happen if I suddenly decided to get up and go to Mexico just to give a desperate man $10000 that I didn’t have before I robbed a bank in America? I often wonder about if the sun will ever blow up and just end the world? I often think of how funny it is to watch midgets run track (no offense to anyone). I also think about how funny it is when Mexicans are born in Africa, I mean serious what are they called? My friend has a very small dog that is super super a.d.d. and runs around all the time and is constantly extremely spastic. I often wonder what goes through that dogs mind or what he would say if he could talk. I often wonder if the Saints or the Cubs will ever win a Super Bowl or World Series. Sometimes I wonder what the world would really be like if flamingos were aqua blue instead of pink. I wonder sometimes if alligators and sharks were vegetarians what that would be like. Soccer is fun to play. I often think what America would really be like if we had a black President or woman Vice President. What if Bob Marley didn’t smoke weed and Paris Hilton really wasn’t extremely dumb. I wonder what it would be like if Bill Gates was broke and Slip not really wasn’t sick and demented in the head. What if there really was a candy mountain and a pot of gold with rainbows, unicorns really did fly and money grew on trees. What if everyone was blonde and beautiful? And what if money really did grow on trees? And if I told my wife “I loved her to death”, would I really die? I also wonder why those kids never give Trix to that silly rabbit. Why is huge such a small word? I wonder sometimes why no one has ever tried to push one of those Stonehenge rocks down just to see if it would make a dominos effect, who cares of the history of them and how they got there. I wonder who actually collects the bottles off coke cans and goes to the web site and gets coke points. I sometimes wonder who jeeves is, and why he knows everything, and why his mother hated him so much too actually name him that. I often wonder what it would be like to eat ice cream in a Speedo in the rain in Chile on top of a mountain while Michael Bolton sang you raise me up with Snoop dog rappin’ to the remix of somewhere over the rainbow in the month of December in 2012 while the lunar eclipse is in full force and Chuck Norris comes and round house kicks Michael and makes George Bush start WWIII. It would probably kind of cold since I was in a Speedo though. I often wonder what the first thing Helen Keller would say if she could talk. I often think what it would be like if Bob Dillon was a preacher and Ray Charles was a referee. I wonder who actually read this far down this horrible blog. And to answer my question Robbie Gould kicked a 44 yard field goal for a 22-17 lead over the Colts.

Cancun !

Hey again Pat here,
Yeah so today i'm going to talk about Winston my best friend and Me. Well yeah thats him and we have known each other since the beginning. Our parents say we slept in the same crib in our first month of life. But yeah we know each other inside and out. We went to the same school in High School and we ended up going to the same college being room mates ha, who would have guessed. But yeah we get into some crazy stuff. We've been getting into crazy stuff our whole lives. One time we went out in the boat not even thinkin if it had gas or not and drove out to horn island. Of course as soon as we touched sand it died. We ended up spending the whole night just kickin it with some girls and the acoustics and just waiting for gas to come the next day. We also went to cancun this past summer. It was everything I ever dreamed about ha cold drinks hammocks on the beach and more topless girls than the 32nd addition of the playboy magazine. We were there for 7 days and it went by way too fast. While we were there I went scuba diving in the carribean sea. I saw a 4 foot barracuta, and it kinda scared me I'm not even going to lie. I also went to chi chi nitza or how ever you spell it ... anyways I never knew it but the myans were pretty much geniouses when it came to mathmatics. Any ways, thats pretty much the story of our cancun trip and our life. Yeah so peace.

The beggining

Hola como se lama es Patrick, but you can just call me Pat. I'm 28 years old, yeah not really just 18 but I come from a small town in Ms, called Pascagoula. I love going out in the boat, hunting, fishing and playing music every chance I get. I can play around 10 instruments but my favorite is probably the guitar. I picked up my first acoustic when I was only nine years old. So that makes about 8 and a half years I've been playing now. Yeah so I also have a band that plays on the coast alot. We're called the Fillmore, and we are a rock funk and blues influenced band. But enough about that. At my high school I played soccer for all 4 years and I was in the band along with the jazz band and played the guitar in the PHS Impact show choir. Yeah we dominated this year pretty much every competition we went to. I got my first gun when I was only 4 ha my Grandfather gave it to me. ever since then I've been hunting. I love to fish also and I think i have a picture on here of one of the trips i went on with my friends. I have a mom named Diane she's 49 and a dad called Terry he's pretty much older than jesus. I am also the youngest of the three boys. Brandon, the oldest attends Ms State and is like 23, i dont know something like that. Garrett is the middle child and also my moms favorite, ha he's 20. And I of course am the youngest at 18. Well yeah thats pretty much my life, Playing music and going to the islands. Peace.
